I hold a dell dimension 8200 desktop . Files on hard drive undo slow when connected to the internet , anyone know why ? files like photos , music , movies that are on the gard drive , and enjoy nothing to do beside the internet. when i am not conneceted to internet the files opne normal speed .

It sounds resembling you may have a virus or a worm. I would recommend running a full scan of your system.
