The workstation stays completely blank when booted. is there a route to reinstall the bios without have to take it contained by to a pc shop or hav it replaced? perchance a blind reinstall?
I own erased my bios. Detials inside?
the BIOS is stored on a ROM (read only memory) chip i.e. the notes is hardwired into it and its therefore impossible to erase it. i dont suggest the problem is with the bios, try reformatting (completely erasing) the frozen drive and reinstalling your OS. make sure u hindmost up ur important files 1st.
Dead BIOS, limp motherboard, congrats you are now the proud owner of a paperweight.
at hand may be a jumper to reset you bios to factory setting. consult the booklet of you mobo manufacturer
