this is an elder webcam andi was trying to hook it up i hooked it up surrounded by the back USB port of my computer but my computer did not reconize it what can i do to solve this?

Go to the webcam manufacturer website and download the drivers for your operating system. Probably Windows XP. They should also have install instructions. Usually install drivers first, next plug in the camera.
You involve to install the drivers first, if you don't have them, contact IBM's website and download them.
did you try turning your computer stale then plug the cam contained by and then turn your computer subsidise on? if you did. search google for ibm notebook camera.
