i own be have trouble witih the recorder built into window, it worked for a while and presently does not work.

I enjoy been using the recorder built into Windows 2000 Pro. It be working well for a while and consequently it suddenly stopped working. How can i fix it? I tried all the connections, i checked adjectives the menus related to the audio card, i checked hardware manager and could find no problems. all the same the recorder does not work. what can i do?

Maybe your microphone is broken. Try with a different microphone, see if you obtain the same results. Have you checked also if the mike is muted surrounded by the volume control (maybe you'll have to travel to advanced view).

Also you can reinstall the sound driver.
