Both of my drives are SATAII and support RAID. My mobo supports RAID. My computer is a dell E510 Dual Core 3.6
My 250GB HDD is my Windows MCE harddrive that come with my computer.
My 500GB HDD is going to be spare storage for photos, games, cast-offs, and mainly Media Center record TV shows. Currently it is completely empty.
Is near any advantage to keeping the 500GB spare storage HDD set to dynamic if my 250GB HDD specifically not dynamic is my Windows HDD?
I hold a 250GB HDD (not dynamic) and an EMPTY 500GB HDD (dynamic).Any power surrounded by setting that 500 to dynamic
Dynamic drives only really come into play if you want to clutch advantage of the extra features that Dynamic Drives allow, approaching Spanning or extended volumes. Since you only own the single 500GB drive it really doesn't matter if it's Basic or Dynamic. In your current setup there's no solid advantage.
DANG If U A women U pretty Smart To Know What SATA and RAID are. Any Way If I be you I would keep it the opening you have it. Anyway I really dont meditate That Windows Is Going to Need The whole 250gb.
