Well, theres two types of vga card brands out there Nvidia and ATI, i myself would reccomend Nvidia due to smaller number compatability issues, but before you prefer on a card check to see whats compatible. obviously a geforce8800gtx wouldnt be compatible if you dont hold pci express and it may not run well if you dont own the right Mobo, Memory, or a high ample processor speed. post your hardware specs and ill see if i can abet ya witch compatability

Make sure your motherboard supports PCI Express.

Hi. Download the most modern drivers from ATI. Make sure your board is seated properly. Check for proper ventilation so the GPU does not overheat. Make sure your power supply can provide satisfactory power. (This is a common problem beside cheap PSUs.) Also just double check the cable from the card to the monitor.

Download the chipset driver for the computer, it should be available on the HP website.
Re-install the motherboard drivers for your PC, afterwards, check the Monitor Manufacturer's website for the latest drivers.
If your computer have an AMD CPU, and Viatech USB Host Controllers; changing the USB Host Controller drivers to standard or generic drivers, may work.

I enjoy tryed everything I can possibly think of including calling gateway and they transferred me to the gateway specialist that designed the program & they have never heard of it either(unless you own a box checked off wrong & I didn't). Based on a restricted amount of posts regarding this error, it appears it could be cause due to a faulty installation of Vista.

One counsel is to do a re-install of the operating system. If Vista behaves similar to XP, you can basically do it without too much problems by starting from the install compact disc and getting it to either run a repair or install.

The other leeway is to do a clean install of Vista, this according to the posts resolves the error issue.
This error is most promising due a faulty CD/DVD writer. It's a hardware error. I would suggest you procure a new burner.
Sincere support don't use vista till one and a half year. Even Mr Bill Gates or Microsoft corporation does not know exactly what they own programmed in vista. Let the patch come after complains from customer like us.

I bought Zoom Bluetooth Adapter and Jabra BT125 (wireless bluetooth headset) in establish to make call using Skype. Both devices seem work but Bluetooth adapter does not find headset (I tried both - standard window way and Zoom software). I own XP, not Vista, so system is not a problem I guess.
